Tasks

  • Supporting the conclusion of forward electricity trading transactions on 20 European markets with special focus on the Balkan region
  • Supporting the conclusion of CO2 and coal trading transactions
  • Contribute to the design and development of successful new trading strategies
  • Support the effective portfolio management of market transactions
  • Effective participation in cross border capacity auctions and efficient management of acquired capacity
  • Identifying and analysing market knowledge essential for successful trading in the Balkan region
  • Monitoring competitor activity
  • Providing analysis based on fundamental market information
  • Developing tools to support the trading process (Ms Excell macro, Power BI, etc)

What we expect

  • Min 1-2 year professional experience
  • Technical or business degree
  • Native speaker in at least one of the following languages: Croatian, Serbian, Slovenian, Macedonian, Bulgarian, Greek
  • Business English
  • Strong user skills inf MS Excel,
  • Precision, high stress tolerance
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Creativity and proactivity in strategy development
  • Openness to learn about international energy business processes

The following qualifications are deemed as advantage

  • Participation in a commodity or financial market trading course
  • Quantitative analytical background
  • Professional experience in commodity or financial products trading
  • Proprietary trading skills, commodity product knowledge
  • VBA, Power BI skills
